I found an article from Martha Stewart that shows how to turn those plastic vegetable mesh bags into bird feeders http://www.marthastewart.com/272458/feed-the-birds
I just noticed the recommendation to avoid the mesh bags because small birds can get their feet or beaks caught in them. I’m still going to find a use for those bags instead of tossing them!
